What to expect during the process:

Once the details of your portrait are confirmed, I will provide a contract requiring your review and signature. Once the contract has been signed, a 30% deposit is required to reserve your commission. The deposit is nonrefundable unless an unlikely event and/or Act of God prevents me from completing the portrait. The remainder of your balance is due upon completion.

After I receive the signed contract, and 30% deposit, I will then provide you with a proposed sketch. If you would like to request changes to the sketch, I will provide up to 1 round of revisions, free of charge. After that there is a flat rate of $50 for revisions to the sketch, and you will be notified of a new completion date at the request of the additional revisions.

When we have agreed on the sketch, I will then proceed with creating your final portrait. I will do my best to provide you with updates and progress photos of the process. Once the portrait is complete, I will send you several photos of the completed painting for your review. You may request any changes to specific details such as fur color, eye tones and other non-structural changes. No major structural changes (such as pose or layout/design) may be made at this time.

Once you confirm approval of your final portrait, the remainder of the payment will due. When Payment is received, I will then either ship the portrait (if previously discussed) or schedule a time to meet you in the St. Louis Area to deliver your portrait to you.

    Disclosure

Satisfying my clients is of utmost importance to me, but there ARE limits to what I will create. I will only accept commissions that are within the confines of existing style and skill, and that do not clash with the mission or vision of my company. This is for the intent of staying committed to business purpose and brand. If you have a request and are unsure if this is something I can create, please email me and I will be happy to discuss further.
